Aqil's Day of Fun..

Last sunday, we went to Farnborough for my 1st car boot sale since i came here 2 months ago.. the place is quite small but it has 2 storeys.. not bad and i managed to a few things.. buku Aqil 20p, bola Aqil 50p (i should've tawar but Aqil was so in love with it i just pay the amount), jumper Aqil gbp1, faberge egg gbp1.50 (it's so lovely) , a carrier bag 50p and a few other things..

Afterwards, we went to the town centre and bought sandwiches for lunch. Then we shopped a few places, went to Debenhams and Argos (i got the catalogue u guys) and then off back home around 3pm..

Takde pix of the carboot sbb bz shopping but i have a few of Aqil having lunch. Suka dia makan tuna sandwich and vegetable pastry..

Nine months..

When I first got pregnant with Aqil, i really, really took care of myself.. emotionally kdg2 i was sad but i will always talk to my unborn child about life, kesabaran, being a good person, virtues that i want to install in him..

This time, i don't have much time for that.. in my head i have to settle my PhD, take care of Aqil and do things.. i feel guilty because this baby means so much to me, but i am so lasak and i hardly spend time for myself..

My doa is for the baby to be normal and healthy.. anak yg baik and beriman.. it has never given me any grouses, sometimes i can feel it sort off kicking but when i touch my tummy, it will quieten down.. so baik but very active, just like the mum.. hehehe..

I should eat more probably and healthily too.. and take better care of myself.. can't wait for Aug/Sept.. after 7 months baru dapat be together and in our new home.. can't wait..

Milla dah kahwin..

congratulations to both Milla and Bahrin .. Milla was my mentee and student and Bahrin was a student but I got to know him better when he was doing PH at Sepang.. I'm so happy for both of them, they are really good students and personally, great people to be acquainted with.. So sad i cannot be there to witness the beautiful event.. Anyway congrats to both of you and semoga berkekalan dunia akhirat..

Deux Moins (two months)

Windsor Castle: Home of the Queen


Tomorrow marks two months of my stay in the Land of the Queen. After two month, the standard in my Uni's is that i am required to a submit 4 page report on study protocol and training plan as well as registration form completed and a comprehensive CV.
With all that was happening, I thank Allah for His Guidance that i was able to finish it all with one day to spare. My supervisor seems pleased so far with my progress so Alhamdulillah and hopefully i can keep it up and become better.

after this my focus is to do systematic review, baby and upgrade to PhD. wish me luck everybody..

Mendungkan pergi..

Just heard some news from my very very good friend Wahidah.. Managed to call her, but can't really reveal what's going on. She hasn't really told it in her blog yet, so I'll be discreet about it.. but apa2 dugaan, insyaAllah ada jalannya. mendung akan berlalu, sinar pasti datang, sabarlah, moga Allah merahmati..

After months of long hair, I finally decided to cut Aqil's hair (with his Abah's consent of course).. So, hope you like his new hairstyle, courtesy of Ummi's saloon.. So those yg asyik tanya bila nak potong rambut Aqil, mcm perempuan lah, hehehe.. here's one for you..

Happy Birthday Abah -fr Aqil-

Abah, happy birthday.. semalam masa breakfast Aqil jatuh.. Aqil gerak2 dkt chair, lps tu satu kaki tergelincir.. Aqil jatuh, mulut darah banyak// Semua panik, ingatkan gusi luka.. bila tgk betul2, lidah terbelah.. 1cm panjang, agak dalam.. Ummi dgn Daddy Yoh terusbawak pegi Hospital St Peter's dan pergi A&E.. lepas daftar, kami pegi bahagian Paediatric & terus jumpa doctor.. doctor tengok, Aqil nangis sebab ada org nak paksa tengok mulut Aqil.. pastu doctor kata "it's quite deep, let me first call the surgeon to see if it needs to be stitched it up".. lepas nangis Ummi bawak main toys dekat waiting lounge.. Aqil main dengan truck.. lepas tu doctor panggil, dia cakap surgeon kata "it's fine, just watch him, if he's not eating well, drinking well, bring him back here. ".. so dalam 10 mins je kat hospital, Aqil balik..

Sekarang Aqil dah ok.. smlm Aqil makan tapi pedih sikit. Aqil makan nugget, cheerio sbb Aqil suka.. Ummi bagi Nestum cranberries yg abah beli tu jugak.. Tapi Aqil happy je main kejar2 dgn Kak Rina and K Syasha.. main lego dgn Ummi and Kak Nat.. Malam, Ummi jaga Aqil, aqil nangis bila ummi letak gamat.. yuck, tak sedapnya.. tapi lepas tu aqil nenen, tidur.. pagi ni aqil ok, lidah dah tutup sikit.. tapi ummi bagi aqil soft food je.. Aqil minum susu bottle..

Ok Aqil dah nak morning nap ni.. Happy Birthday Abah.. I love you..
